What is stereotype?
Stereotype is a widely held but fixed and oversimplified image or idea of a particular type of person or a thing.
Consequences of stereotyping:
-Anxiety
-Negative cognitions and emotions.
-Reduces performance expectations
-Reduces people working capacity
Ways we can avoid stereotyping:
-Don't stereotype others
-Think positive
-Accept who people are
